worst book in this subject so far (Rating :1.00)
the self claimed 'best kept secret off wall street' got my eyes, but found it's just an almost shameless claim. the 'best' secret is just some well known trading principals that you can find in every trading book, and some charting technique that again you can get from most technical books. It takes some guts to take this junk into public.

Garbage! A Monstrosity! (Rating :1.00)
This author has no reason to sell you all her best trading secrets, but she does have a reason to successfully market a dream and make a killing from unsuspecting buyer's hopes and dreams. The "information" in this book is very vague and incomplete, leaving the reader at a complete loss on trying to learn how to forecast the forex market. Not only does the author tease the reader with bits and pieces of her secret strategy that do not fit together, but the writing in the book is so poor you'd think that a juvenile delinquent wrote the book on a Sunday night for a class project due on Monday. If you want to throw money away, buy this book. Otherwise you'd have better luck in the forex market by throwing darts at currency bills and investing in those.

Still learning after 40 years of experience (Rating :5.00)
Who said " you can't teach an old dog a new trick? " I have read many many books over the years on markets of various types. Though I have not traded the 24 hours Forex market, I have traded the currency markets as well as the futures, stocks and options. I have been student of all kinds of systems, Fibonacci and Elliot Wave, Gann - have used dozens of indicators, yet I am always looking for something more to learn. I figure that if I can learn just a bit more I may become a better trader.

That brings me to Raghee's book. I found that her 34 days EMA wave theory combined with trend lines and Fibonacci retracement values a very useful set of tools in setting goals of 1) what price to enter a trade , 2) where to exit (either for a profit or stop loss ). These tools though were always there, but I had not seen them put together as Raghee has, and she teaches in a very understandable way, step by step that makes sense. She has been trading 1/3 the time I have, yet her wisdom, logic and probably knowledge is several folds greater than mine. I am glad to have bought and read the book, more than once, and I have listened to the instructional CD that comes with the book many times. Thanks Raghee. I am looking forward to your next book detailing your real trades in 30 days hoping to learn more.

Speculators Pile Up Against Euro
The Wall Street Journal’s coverage of the Greek dent crisis has focused less on the crisis itself, and more on the markets’ reaction to it. With headlines like “Hedge Funds Try ‘Career Trade’ Against Euro” and “Speculators Bet Record Amount Against Euro For 4th Week” and “Europe Trouble, U.S. Opportunity” – among others – the [...]

Yen Carry Trade is Back!
I can’t remember how long it’s been since I was hyping the Yen carry trade (though a browsing of the ForexBlog archives indicates 2 years). Upon the outset of the credit crisis, forex markets went haywire, and one of the main “beneficiaries” was the Yen, which soared as carry trades were unwound. Now, however, a similar [...]

Pound’s Fate Tied to EU Debt Crisis
Since the emergence of the debt crisis in Greece, UK policymakers have been once again patting themselves on the back for not joining the Euro. Otherwise, they would currently be in the same awkward position as France and Germany, whose economic might underpins the entire Eurozone and are wondering about if and how they should [...]

Fed Rate Hikes a Distant Prospect
Last week, the Fed raised the discount rate by 25 basis points, to .75%. Investors have consistently focused the brunt of their collective monetary attention on the Federal Funds Rate, and the markets (forex included) barely registered a response to the move. Regardless of whether apathy in this particular context was justified, investors who turn [...]

Emerging Market Currencies Continue their Run
Since most emerging market economies and financial markets are fairly small, their currencies are subject to the whims of international investors, moreso than is the case with major currencies. For that reason, when I research emerging market currencies as a whole, I often like to focus on what investors are saying are saying about their [...]
